What To Expect From Your Guide
- Your guide will provide you with great instruction, extensive knowledge of the water that you're on, as well as a safe and fun day on the water.
- For new fly fishers, expect to learn how to cast, how to present your flies and how to set the hook on fish. We never guarantee that you'll catch fish, but we know these waters well and will put you in the best possible situation to do so.
- For more experienced anglers, expect to learn new fly fishing techniques or target more difficult areas where larger fish may be lurking.
- Your guide will provide you with whatever equipment is necessary. We'll provide waders, rods, reels, flies and other fly fishing accessories like tippet and leaders. You can just show up with adequate clothing and a fishing license.
- We will also give you good recommendations on what you need to get on the water on your own after your trip. Many clients ask us about rods, reels, flies, waders, etc. that they'll need to get started on their own and we have lots of different rods and reels for clients to try out while fishing with us.
- A hearty lunch and beverages will also be provided for full day clients. You'll love our favorite snack, deer or moose jerky!
