One more month until the fishing season starts to heat up. We've been busy filling up our boxes, getting gear ready for next year, and purchasing new supplies. What I enjoy most about winter time is reading articles, watching videos and going to listen to people speak about fly fishing. It's a great time to reflect on last year's successes and failures and make plans for this season!
Vince has been busy with all of these things and has managed to find a little time to get out on the water, literally. He's had a great winter season ice fishing in the Belgrade area. Here's a recent report:
"The weather was great today and the fish were biting. Pike fillets were delicious with a side of home fries. The bass were all released for the open water season, that will be here soon enough. There's still some time left to go ice fishing, so don't wait and get out there!"
