Marc and I got out for a guide's day on the Rapid River. We fished for the morning and did some sighting in for the upcoming hunting season. The flows were very, very low just like most rivers in Maine right now, but the fish were still willing if you were in the right spot. At one point, we counted 18 people on one stretch of the river. Not many fish were being landed, but we managed 3 landlocked salmon and a nice broke Small midge nymphs were the ticket. We're done with guiding on the Rangeley rivers for the fall, but still have a couple of openings left to fish other parts of the state. Enjoy the great pictures taken by Marc! -Aaron Shout out to my Uncle Sam for shipping a delicious beer back home from his recent trip to Montana!
