The fall season is still avoiding us at this point. Water temps are still pretty warm and low, but for the first time in almost a month we got out for some trout fishing. It was difficult and a little slow, but a few brookies came to play. We only used streamers and dry flies due to time constraints. These brook trout were taken with a cream colored elk hair caddis. Some rain and a drop in night temps will get us going in the right direction!
